This is not a traditional classroom experience. At Liberal Arts in Silicon Valley, you'll learn by doing -- alongside your peers, with the support of experienced technologists and educators, and with interaction and feedback from mentors and employees in diverse tech roles. You'll learn the fundamentals of computational thinking and problem solving using software. By the end of the program, you’ll be prepared to build proofs of concept, apply for a technical internship, and articulate how to blend your liberal arts education with tech skills to make a difference.
Industry Exploration & Mentoring
We'll make visits to cutting-edge Silicon Valley organizations and hear from their employees about how technology is leveraged to achieve their goals. You'll hear from guest speakers who have applied their mix of human and technical skills to a wide range of endeavors. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with local alumni from your college and hear about their experiences living and working in the Bay Area.
